I am applying 1lb of Urea (1/2lb of nitrogen) every week to my kentucky bluegrass. It’s an aggressive fall fertilizer technique, sometimes called spoon feeding. The small but frequent apps of fast release fertilizer gets gobbled up by the grass rapidly and causes it to fill in and thicken up dramatically.
