Applying crabgrass pre-emergence via a backpack sprayer is a cost effective way at preventing crabgrass and other weeds. Today I’m showing you how to apply prodiamine (barricade).

The benefit to barricade or prodiamine pre emergent is that it doesn’t contain fertilizer. You can apply it when it’s best to apply crabgrass preventer instead of when it’s best for spring fertilizer.
